+10 Are Gpu Fans Intake Or Exhaust Awe-Inspiring

 ·  ☕ 4 min read

Generally, You Need An Intake And An Exhaust To Maintain Positive Airflow, Meaning Having More.

The chassis comes from the factory with two 140mm fans on the intake and one 120mm. Reverse mode with front mesh kit at fan bracket scenario replace the glass panel to the front mesh kit brings further fresh air into the chassis to cool the cpu and gpu efficiently. Adding an additional pair of intake and exhaust (for a total of four fans).

Investing In Decent Case Fans Can Seriously Reduce Internal Temps, Especially If They Have High Cfm (Cubic Feet Per Minute) Levels.

Chassis fans can be directly attached to the card and tuned with a curve that is based on cpu and gpu temperatures, providing extra intake or exhaust for demanding 3d tasks. Make sure you have at least one intake fan and one exhaust fan to promote a more natural airflow throughout the case. I even added a 2nd set of 3 fans to the side mount radiator so i can keep those at idle almost all the time.

This Will Give Cool Air Directly To The Intake Fans On The Gpu Itself.

Push or pull is your preference. Generally, it’s best to have as few obstacles as possible between the intake fans on the front of the case and the exhaust fans on the rear and top of the case. I tested all these configs and for overall system performance this works best.

To Get The Maximum Performance Out Of Your Graphics Card And In Games, Your Gpu Usage Should Be.

Low gpu usage directly translates to low performance or low fps in games, because gpu is not operating at its maximum capacity as it is not fully utilized. The aer fans feature less drag and quieter operation, available in 120mm and 140mm. Lots of youtube videos about people monkeying with them to try to get better cooling / higher flow with mostly poor results as even higher flows don’t actually do much to temps (esp gpu temps as the stock config negative pressure draws cool outside air right across the gpu’s own fans).

Manage Your Cables And Other Obstructions.

Almost every single pc out there has at least one fan inside for airflow, while more modern systems have three or more fans depending on the budget. You can go one step further and get numerous intake/exhaust fans to really bolster your cooling. Low gpu usage in games is one of the most common problems that trouble many gamers worldwide.
